SF Board of Supervisors Resolution
Assemblymember David Chiu, Mayor London Breed and Board of Equalization member Malia Cohen, all sponsored the 2014 resolution authorizing the California African-American Freedom Trail on public right of right while on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
A spark for hospitality and tourism
The California African-American Freedom Trail supports the largest industries in the state by creating millions of new visitors, particularly in communities which have not shared in affluence, as it highlights the 500 year built environment and historic milestones.
